This painting is a memory of my childhood growing up in an orphanage. Life wasn’t the hardest, but it was never easy either. Most of the time, you didn’t get what you needed, you just learned to live with less.
The boy in the center is me, going to school with the little food I could afford. It wasn’t given to me. I worked for it, saved for it, and carried it with me. But even that wasn’t safe. Sometimes others would take it, waste it, and leave me with nothing.
The Original Painting will be signed and dated on the front. Using acrylic which gives a rich-toned, and the edges are painted. For the accomplishment I use a soft gloss varnish which makes colors glow. The original painting can be framed or not be framed, displayed anywhere and hung as is.
